Original Maine Flag 24x36

The original Maine flag - which features a unique pine tree and star design - flew over Maine from 1901 to 1909. Now, more than a century after it was replaced, Mainers are beginning to display our state's first flag again.

This original Maine flag is handmade right here in Maine, using a traditional applique. This means that the tree and star are cut out and sewn directly onto the flag field. No printing is involved. 24" x 36"
